The Wishes On Wheels Convoy

to benefit The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Connecticut

In memory of Chris Perry, Gordon McClay and Bob Toce

The Wishes On Wheels Committee hopes everyone had a wonderful time last year at our 9th Annual Wishes On Wheels Convoy to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Connecticut.

It seemed everyone enjoyed the hat theme last year so this year we'll have to step it up a notch.

Tell all your friends you heard it here first...

This year's 10th Anniversary theme on September 20th, 2009

It take individuals like yourself to make this event happen. The Wishes on Wheels Committee can plan this event year round but it's nothing without true supporters of the convoy and Make-A-Wish!

We had 455 trucks attend this event on September 21st, 2008 and the total money raised is $90,000.
Please check back often while we continue to update this website and we continue to add photos

Every year Wishes On Wheels makes dreams come true for the trucking industry and courageous children. Every third Sunday in September, hundreds of families enjoy the Wishes On Wheels Truck Convoy to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Connecticut, Inc.
Wishes On Wheels is a group of passionate and hard-working friends committed to a shared goal – to organize a family-friendly truck convoy to bring together the entire trucking industry and raise funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which serves children with life-threatening illnesses.
From its inception, the convoy and cause were united. The event would be about driver camaraderie and community spirit, not companies or egos. From the beginning, it was important for the convoy to help children and families. The Make-A-Wish Foundation’s pure and simple mission – to bring happiness and joy to children and families – was perfectly aligned with the convoy’s goals. The kids’ wishes gave the convoy a higher purpose, and so a partnership was formed. And the convoy was aptly named: “Wishes On Wheels.”

The winner of the Harley Davidson was Wayne Savluk from Union, CT.
Congratulations Wayne!
